Penn Medicine's BMJ-published analysis of more than 50,000 patients found GLP-1 diabetes drugs cause significantly more hair loss than comparator medications, and NYU Langone separately found a further 7 percent hair-loss risk in genetically susceptible men, landing the same stretch cosmetic surgeons are combining tummy tucks, arm lifts and body lifts into single GLP-1 makeover packages for patients who lost weight on the drugs.
